Reflections on Cultural Humility

This piece from the American Psychological Association introduces and describes the key features of cultural humility. It frames cultural humility as a lifelong journey to become more culturally competent while embracing the idea that there will always be room for growth and new learning. It offers a foundational understanding of cultural humility. We share this resource to support educators and education leaders to think about how they frame their own journey towards being culturally aware and competent and to consider where they can explore with greater vulnerability and humility as learners.

Resource by Amanda Waters and Lisa Asbill, American Psychological Association.
